The School of Public Management, Communication and Tourism of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (EsACT-IPB) will host the 5th International Congress on Public Accounting (VCICP), to be held on 19–20 March 2026 in Mirandela.

Organised in partnership with the Order of Certified Accountants (OCC), the Congress will focus on the theme "Public Accounting and Accountability: Global Challenges and Opportunities”, bringing together academics, professionals and decision-makers to discuss key issues and emerging trends in the field.

The choice of Mirandela as the host city highlights EsACT-IPB’s commitment to fostering research, innovation and closer collaboration between academia and professional practice.
